Freddy Brazier says he was punched and fined on way to airport before missing Ibiza flight

Freddy Brazier has revealed how his impromptu trip to Ibiza ended in chaos after he missed his flight following an altercation and a fine while travelling to the airport.

The 20-year-old, youngest son of TV presenter Jeff Brazier and the late Big Brother star Jade Goody, took to Instagram on Tuesday to document his journey to Stansted Airport, sharing a photo of himself with a large yellow suitcase and designer backpack just three hours after booking the flight.

However, things quickly went wrong. In a follow-up post, the model explained he missed the flight after “getting punched” and receiving a fine on the train.

He wrote: “Missed my flight, got punched and got a fine on the train – what a s*** day,” alongside a selfie that appeared to show a swollen eye.

The Standard has contacted representatives for Freddy and Jeff Brazier for comment.

This incident comes weeks after Brazier announced plans to enter rehab in Marbella to address a smoking addiction he had struggled with since the age of 12, and to work towards a healthier relationship with his father following a family fallout.

However, he later reversed his decision, saying he didn’t need rehab but instead “a boys’ holiday or a retreat.”

His mother, Goody, passed away from cervical cancer in 2009 when he was just four years old, leaving him and his older brother Bobby, 22, to be raised by their father.

Family tensions have been highlighted in recent months, particularly around Brazier’s relationship with his maternal grandmother, Jackiey Budden.

The pair were spotted together near Tower Bridge smoking what appeared to be a suspicious cigarette, despite his father reportedly seeking legal action to restrict their contact “to keep him safe.”

Brazier reportedly spent a week living with Jackiey following their reconciliation. He was also noticeably absent from his EastEnders actor brother’s birthday party on June 2, though he acknowledged the occasion online.

A source told The Sun: “It was a really nice family occasion but everyone really missed Freddy. He was of course invited, but he is making his feelings quite clear at the moment about who he wants to be spending time with.”
