Freddie Kitchens has yet to meet Odell Beckham Jr. since the Cleveland Browns acquired the All-Pro wide receiver in a trade two weeks ago. But the Browns rookie coach already has warm and fuzzy feelings for his new standout weapon.
When asked what he’ll say to Beckham when he sees him face to face for the first time, hopefully in early April, Kitchens pulled no punches.
“I love you,” Kitchens deadpanned to the NFL Network cameras at the NFL owners meetings in Arizona at the coach’s breakfast function Tuesday morning.
It’s forward and blunt but shows just how important Beckham’s acquisition is for the man in charge of the Browns offense.
