Freddie Kitchens shows up and donates $1,000 at fundraiser for a Browns fan

Browns head coach Freddie Kitchens spent part of his Saturday helping out a fan in Cleveland. Kitchens showed up at a fundraising bar-hop and donated $1,000 to Matthew Dixon to help Dixon deal with a rare cancer in his skull.

Kitchens crashed the charity bar crawl in Cleveland, an event organized by rabid English Browns fan and podcaster (disclosure: I’ve appeared several times as a guest) Paul Brown. Dixon was clearly elated for the personal attention by the coach, who graciously posed for pics and signed for the mass of fans helping out a fellow member of the Dawg Pound.

Kitchens personally signed a hat for Dixon, too:

Well done, coach! And a special thanks to Paul Brown for doing something for a fan from afar. Be strong, Mr. Dixon!
