Freddie Kitchens has high praise for the Browns’ offensive line

One of the biggest questions facing the 2019 Cleveland Browns is the offensive line. With stalwart right guard Kevin Zeitler traded away and left tackle Greg Robinson apparently unchallenged to start, there are indeed viable questions.

Coach Freddie Kitchens sees it differently.

“I will say this about our offensive line: This may be the best group in this setting, the minicamp, tryout guys, free agent guys – this is the best offensive line I have ever been a part of,” Kitchens was quoted by cleveland.com. “I have been in the league 13 years. I have never seen a group collectively this good. We can actually function on offense, and sometimes in this kind of camp setting, that is hard to do.”

Coach Kitchens got his first look at Austin Corbett with the starters in OTAs. The 2018 second-round pick is taking over for Zeitler at right guard. That’s the only change to the starting lineup. New offensive line coach James Campen is a bigger change, taking over for fan favorite, Bob Wylie.
