Freddie Flintoff's new look distracts Top Gear fans

Top Gear was back on screens last night but it wasn't the just the cars viewers were talking about.

As Freddie Flintoff, Paddy McGuinness and Chris Harris returned with the BBC On e car show, fans couldn't help but notice Freddie had a new look.

The former cricketer has transformed his blonde locks into something that is reminiscent of a 90s boyband member.

Rocking a middle parting that turned his hair into the classic curtains look, Freddie also donned some pink tinted glasses just to add to the retro look.

Paddy even poked fun at his co-star and said: "Tonight, it's time to slip on those rose tinted spectacles... you already have!"

And it's no surprise people were chatting about it on social media.

One wrote: "Freddie has kindly joined us from a 90s boyband fashion shoot #TopGear."

"Blimey. What's with Freddie Flintoff's circa 1994 curtains haircut?" another said.

A third added: "Hang on? Who's the new member on @BBC_TopGear?? You've got @harrismonkey and @PaddyMcGuinness, but who's the member of the Vonn Trapp family ?!?!? #TopGear Only kidding Freddie ;) @flintoff11."

Many fans couldn't help but gush over the new look.

"Freddie Flintoff is bloody gorgeous #TopGear," one tweeted.

Another said: "Hang about. How is Freddie Flintoff making those glasses look sexy af #topgear."

But we didn't say everybody...

"Pleased to see #TopGear back... less pleased about Freddie's new look," a viewer tweeted.

"Oh Freddie I'm not keen on the boy band look #TopGear," another said.

A third added: "Freddie Flintoffs curtains haircut is the funniest thing of 2021 so far. #TopGear."
