Fred VanVleet’s face opened up after taking a vicious elbow in Game 4

Fred VanVleet was having a solid night for the Toronto Raptors, helping them build a lead in during the third quarter of Game 4 in Oakland.

Then early in the fourth quarter things took a painful turn for him as Golden State’s Shaun Livingston belted him with in an inadvertent elbow while trying to get a rebound and man did it look like it hurt.

The Raptors guard fell right to the floor and then blood fell from around his right away before the trainers could get out there and get some treatment going.

He also lost a tooth and then got seven stitches… but ESPN’s Doris Burke reported that he would be returning to the game.
