Fred Sirieix becomes millionaire as pandemic sends his finances soaring

First Dates’ host Fred Sirieix has become a millionaire in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.

The E4 star, 49, earned almost £500,000 thanks to his customer service company The Art Of Service Ltd.

A global pandemic shutting down multiple businesses didn’t stop the company from thriving as its finances were boosted to above £1 million in the last year.

The business owner, who greets singletons appearing on the dating show, owns a 75% stake in the company.

According to public figures, the Frenchman’s company is worth £1,234,358 while in 2019, it was worth £832,868.

Fred, who is also the face of Million Pound Menu, set up the service with the aim of training those in the hospitality industry.

As stated on his website, the interactive training activity ‘raises the bar by teaching your staff exactly how to meet customer’s expectations'.

"The focus is on the people in your business – how they perform, learn and represent what you and your business stand for," it states.

The activity takes one hour to finish as a team, and tests workers in a pretend restaurant.

Fred has been keeping busy during the multiple national lockdowns and was most recently seen working as Marks & Spencer’s wine ambassador and promoting their sparkling wine.

The maître d'hôtel also teased a new First Dates format consisting entirely of teens.

First Dates: Teens will see a bunch of teenagers aged between 16 and 19 entering the series’ new Manchester restaurant for their first dates.

The star felt the experience was like "being David Attenborough".

He told RadioTimes : “[It’s] the time where people feel the call of nature, physically.

“You want to meet somebody, and that that’s just the way we are as human beings, we start when we become teenagers, that’s what it is.”
