Manchester United midfielder Fred has named Angel Gomes and James Garner as his two favourite academy youngsters during a question and answer session on his Instagram page.
The Brazilian was asked a plethora of questions by his fans, ranging from his favourite Manchester United players to whether he enjoys living life in Manchester.
Fred has developed into a crucial player this season under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and has been impressed by two youngsters in particular from the United academy.
He named Gomes and Garner as his two favourite academy prospects.
Garner recently turned 19 and has been tipped for a bright future in the United midfield after making his senior debut against Partizan Belgrade back in October.
The England U19 international has been one of the top performers for United's development side under Neil Wood, netting eight goals in ten appearances as captain.
On the other hand, Gomes faces an uncertain future at the club with his contract set to expire at the end of the current campaign.
Solskjaer admitted the club were hopeful of tying him down to a new deal in the near future.
Fred also revealed his footballing icon - naming former Bayern Munich midfielder Ze Roberto as his inspiration.
The midfielder made 84 appearances for the Brazilian national team as well as over 800 showings during his club career.
