There was some rain over the weekend which can only mean one thing...The Hoppings is back.
Yes, as it has done for many years when the famous funfair arrives in Newcastle, after a nice start the rain fell on Sunday evening but the event still enjoyed a cracking first few days as loads of people flocked to the Town Moor to get in on the action.
And as well as all the rides at the Moor, which include white knuckle favourites like Air, the Bomber, MACH5 and Exciter, there are plenty of food and drink stalls.
Last week loads of you went mad for our story about the Cookie Dough truck arriving at The Hoppings for the first time.
