Frazer Clarke has expressed his desire to go toe-to-toe in the ring with Tyson Fury or Anthony Joshua, sharing his lofty ambitions ahead of his professional debut.
The 2020 Olympic bronze medal winner is set for his professional bow next month on the undercard of Amir Khan's grudge match against Kell Brook at Manchester's AO Arena on February 19th.
While his opponent for that clash is yet to be named, it's likely to be a low-key fight that sees Frazer earn his stripes as a professional.
However, the 30-year-old has big plans for the future and hopes to one day face off against Fury or Joshua - two fighters who inspire him.
"I want to win titles. That's my job, my aim. Eventually, I want to be a world champion. We will build steadily and eventually the fights will fall into place," he told Sky Sports.
"Eventually, I want to be up there with the big names. I want to fight the people I am inspired by - Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua.
"We saw Derek Chisora and Joseph Parker do a great fight. They are the kind of nights I want. I want all the big names, all the big fights, but I understand that it's a process."
His lofty ambitions are shared by his promoter Ben Shalom, who has compared Frazer to Joe Joyce and is eyeing a world title fight in the next five years.
"By the time Frazer is 35, we'd be very disappointed if he hasn't already had a world title fight. We will take calculated risks with him.
"We think Frazer will deal with most heavyweights quite comfortably. We have no worries."
