Frasers Property appoint Mapp to manage Hillington Park

Frasers Property UK has appointed commercial property management specialist MAPP to handle all facilities and property management services at Hillington Park.

The appointment, which consolidates property management services across Frasers Property’s UK business parks portfolio, commenced at the beginning of September.

It follows several recent development announcements at Hillington Park, including completion dates for the 133,000 sq ft West 100 & 200 project and the start of the £1.9m redevelopment of warehousing facilities at Carnegie Road.

Current occupiers at Hillington Park operate in a wide range of sectors including transport & last mile logistics, automotive, construction services, manufacturing, engineering, retail, technology and the public sector.

Grant Edmondson, commercial director at Hillington Park said: “With the sales programme concluded and a significant amount of new industrial and logistics development due to complete next year the timing was right to appoint MAPP to take over the property management at Hillington Park.

“As we push forward our growth plans, we look forward to working with the MAPP team to deliver high levels of service performance and a great working environment for both Frasers Property and our occupiers.”

Lynne Keenan, MAPP executive director and head of Scotland, added: “We are delighted to be drawing on our experience in managing market-leading, vibrant business locations to help ensure that Frasers Property can deliver on their exciting plans for Hillington Park. The site is a major hub for trade, engineering and business services sectors and acts as a ‘mini town’ including everything from cafés, pubs and coffee shops to gyms and an on-site nursery.”

MAPP manages around £13.2bn of commercial property and 8,500 occupiers throughout the United Kingdom for a variety of leading funds, Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and other investors in Real Estate.

The company employs 470 people across six offices across the UK in Bristol, Birmingham, Glasgow, London, Manchester and Newcastle.
