Frantic search launched for ‘vulnerable’ Airdrie teen who vanished overnight in ‘out of character’ disappearance

Police are appealing for help to find a vulnerable missing teen who vanished after leaving his home in Airdrie.

Cameron Notman was last seen in Howletnest Road in Craigneuk, Airdrie, at around 5.15pm on Wednesday.

The 15-year-old has failed to make contact since sparking concerns for his safety and welfare by worried friends and family.

Cameron is described as white, around 5’10in tall, with a slim build and short brown hair.

He was last seen wearing light grey jogging bottoms, a grey hooded top and Nike trainers.

Officers are speaking to family and friends for any information which could assist their enquiries.

Inspector John O’Neill at Coatbridge Police Office said: “Our concerns for Cameron are growing and his family and friends are understandably very worried and just want to know he is safe and well.

“This behaviour is completely out of character for Cameron.

“If anyone has seen Cameron, or has any information or knowledge regarding his whereabouts, please contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting the reference number 3542 of 9 December.”
