Frantic search launched for teen girl as police release CCTV image of last sighting at Scots train station

A frantic search has been launched for a missing teenager who didn't turn up to an arranged meeting at a Scots train station.

Jessica McMurray has been missing from the Crail area of Fife since 9pm on Saturday, October 30.

The 16-year-old failed to keep an arranged meeting at Hamilton Central train station at 9pm, after confirming she would be there by a text message sent at around 5pm.

Officers searching for Jessica have released a CCTV image of the sighting of the youngster.

She is pictured at Hamilton Central wearing a grey Nike hoodie, black leggings, a black skulls and roses jumper, red Nike Air Force trainers and a black gilet.

Police are appealing for the help of the public in tracing Jessica.

Anyone with information on the teenager's whereabouts is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference PS-20211030-4127.
