A missing teenager who disappeared in the early hours of yesterday morning has been found safe and well.
Daniel Smith-Harkins, 13, was last seen at roughly 5.20am in the Doura Place area of Irvine, Ayrshire.
An urgent search was launched by police, who also issued a public appeal to help trace the youngster.
Thankfully, authorities confirmed this morning that Daniel has been found.
Posting to Twitter, Police Scotland North Ayrshire said: "Daniel Smith-Harkins, 13, who was reported missing from Irvine has been traced safe and well.
"Thanks to everyone who shared our appeals."
