Frantic search launched for missing man last seen kayaking around Scots island

A frantic search has been launched for a missing man who was last seen kayaking around a Scots island.

Lachlan Dalgleish, 26, was last spotted on the boat as he travelled around the north of the Isle of Jura at around 2pm on Friday, February 24.

Police are appealing for information in their efforts to trace Lachlan.

When last seen he was wearing a dark green tee shirt, black and grey outdoor style trousers, grey and blue trainers and a royal blue life jacket.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Anyone who knows where Lachlan is or who has information that could assist Argyll and West Dunbartonshire Division in tracing him should call 101 or speak to any police officer."
