Frantic search launched for missing Falkirk woman who vanished almost a week ago

A frantic search has been launched for a young woman missing from Falkirk who hasn't been seen for almost a week.

Faith Thomson disappeared from Stenhousemuir on Thursday February 3, and hasn't been seen since. It's believed she was last spotted that evening.

It's thought the 20-year-old could have travelled out with the Forth Valley and cops say they are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare.

Faith is described as 5'6" with purple dyed hair and green eyes.

Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.

A force spokesperson said: "Police at Grangemouth are trying to trace Faith Thomson (20), who has been reported missing.

"She is described as 5'6", purple dyed hair and green eyes.

"Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 3039/7th."
