Frantic search for 'vulnerable' missing Scots 13-year-old who vanished from school

A frantic search has been launched for a 'vulnerable' 13-year-old Scots girl who went missing from her school yesterday.

Katie Neville was last seen around 1.15pm on Tuesday at Paisley Grammar School, Glasgow Road, Paisley.

Katie is described as 5ft 0 inches, slim build, long fair/blonde hair tied back in a ponytail wearing black rimmed glasses.

When last seen she was wearing a black fitted puffer jacket on top of her Paisley Grammar Uniform - black ribbed jumper, white shirt, blue tie, black skirt.

She may have changed her clothing.

Katie is known to use local bus services.

Sergeant Jackie Melvin said that concerns were rising for the girl.

He said “We are very concerned for Katie's wellbeing and safety. She is a vulnerable young girl who we urgently need to locate.

“Anyone who has seen Katie or anyone who knows of her present whereabouts is asked to contact police immediately via telephone number 101 quoting incident number 2381 of 08th December".
