Frantic search for Scots teen who vanished from Paisley home over a week ago

A missing schoolboy who suddenly vanished from his home in Paisley over a week ago has sparked concern.

Police are desperately searching for Shaun Paul Noon who went missing on Friday, January 8.

The 16-year-old has been missing before but never for this long.

He has connections to the Kirkintilloch area and he may be in that area.

He is described as white, 5'10" in height and of stocky build with short blonde hair that is curly on top.

Police Scotland said: "Officers in Kirkintilloch and Paisley are looking to trace Shaun Paul and ensure that he is safe and well.

When Shaun Paul was last seen he was wearing a blue Lacoste tracksuit.

"Anyone with information should call 101 with reference 2959 of 8 January."
