Frantic search for missing Perth man last seen leaving home in black car

Police in Tayside are urgently trying to trace a man who went missing from his home in Perth on Thursday morning.

Jorg Hemmann left his home in a black Nissan Juke with the registration XX04 TRU on March 24.

Officers say they are "concerned for his welfare" and have appealed to the public for assistance to find the 50-year-old.

Jorg is described as being around 6ft in height and of large build with short grey hair and glasses.

A statement from Tayside Police said: "Officers at Perth are appealing for the assistance of the public in tracing 50-year-old Jorg Hemmann who is missing from his home in Perth since the morning of Thursday, 24 March.

"Officers are concerned for his welfare. Searches and enquiries are ongoing to trace him as soon as possible to ensure that he is safe and well."

Anyone with information should contact 101 with reference 0234 of 24 March.
