A frantic dad has issued an urgent appeal after his teenage daughter went missing - with 'very dangerous' links to a Scots city.
James Muir, from Dalkeith, Midlothian, said his 15-year-old daughter Nakeisha disappeared from home around 10.48am yesterday morning.
Despite frantic searches, there has been no sign of the teen girl.
James said she had 'She has links to Cupar, Kirkcaldy and 'very dangerous' links to Dundee.
He added she had her phone either switched off or dead and a police hunt was taking place.
In a heartbreaking post on Facebook, James wrote that the youngster had disappeared wearing a Harry Potter backpack.
He wrote: "We are looking for help in tracing our 15 year old daughter who went missing from home on the 15th July at 10.48am she is wearing black ripped jeans pink top dark top and a brownish Harry Potter back pack.
"She is 5.8ft, long fair brown hair and heavy build.
"She has her phone although it's either switched off or now dead she also has her bank card and money on her.
"She has links to Cupar, Kirkcaldy and very dangerous links to Dundee.
"We and the police have been searching all night and are very concerned for her safety due to links in Dundee. Please if anyone spots her or know where she is please contact us or the police on 101."
His post has gone viral across Scotland being shared more than 400 times.

Inspector Kirk Donnelly from Glenrothes Police Station who is leading the investigation said : "Nakeisha has not been seen or heard from since Thursday morning and we are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare. She has links to the Dundee area and may have travelled there by bus or train and may be seen in the company of others.
"I would the public to keep a look out for Nakeisha and anyone who may have seen her, or who has any information on her whereabouts, can contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 2045 of 15 July 2021."
