Frankie Stringer improves perfect record with impressive win and makes 'learning' admission

Frankie Stringer maintained his unbeaten start in the professional ranks after beating Cristian Narvaez on the undercard of Liam Smith’s win over Chris Eubank Jr.

Stringer, the first fight of the night, boxed beautifully throughout the four rounds and appeared to hurt Narvaez in both rounds three and four.

The 21-year-old exciting prospect showed impressive boxing intelligence to control a 70-fight veteran in Narvaez to ensure he never won a round at the AO Arena.

Now 4-0 as a professional, having won every single round of his career, Stringer, who is managed by Smith, is set to return to the ring next month.

"It can't get better than fighting on a big show like this,” he said post-fight, "It was alright, there's so much more I can do, but I'll get there, I'm learning.

"Six rounds would have been better. I could have got him out of there, but I'm learning."
