Frankie Bridge shares beauty secrets after wowing fans with glam look during I’m A Celeb

Frankie Bridge has shared the secrets to her perfect hair and skin during her recent stint on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

The 32-year-old, who finished as runner-up on the ITV show, was praised by baffled viewers for her seemingly flawless skin and tousled hair, despite having no access to any luxuries while in the Welsh castle.

During a Q&A on her Instagram Stories, Frankie explained her beauty secrets, and revealed she had undergone a series of treatments before taking part in the show.

“How did you keep your hair so smooth and shiny?! I was always in awe of it,” one of her followers asked.

“So the hair and skin question has come up a lot, and I’m majorly flattered!” the mum-of-two replied.

She revealed that campmates had “shampoo and conditioner” in the castle, as well as a bar of soap to wash themselves with in the shower.

But there were no electrical items, so hairdryers and straighteners were banned, meaning Frankie had to embrace her natural hair.

“My hair used to be left to air dry, I have very straight, flat hair. That I personally find really annoying. Which is why in real life I always put a wave through it,” she explained.

Frankie said she wore make-up in camp on the first day ‘and washed it off with water and soap that night’ as make-up wasn’t allowed in the camp unless it was won as a luxury item during a challenge.

But the singer confessed she resorted to a unique way to keep her eyebrows in shape.

“I used to do my brows with my toothbrush and a bar of soap,” she revealed.

Frankie said she had her brows microbladed and laminated before going into isolation ahead of her stint in the castle, so they needed minimal upkeep while on the show.

“I also had short lashes on that slowly fell out as the show went on,” she added, but insisted she had no ‘permanent make-up’ on while in the castle.

“My hair seems to be naturally shiny. Also helped by no heat being put on it in there,” Frankie said.

And she admitted she suffered a breakout while on the show, but her skin cleared up quickly due to the rice and beans she had to eat every day.

“I actually had 3 big spots whist I was in there. That made me really self conscious. But I think in general it looked clear cos we were eating a clean diet,” she stated.

Frankie finished in third place, with Coronation Street icon Simon Gregson coming in second, and Emmerdale actor Danny Miller becoming the first-ever King of the Castle.
