Frankie Bridge admits she 'lost it' with woman on plane who told her to 'control naughty child'

Frankie Bridge has admitted she "lost it" on a flight after a woman demanded she "control her naughty child ".

The former Saturdays star, who is mum to sons Parker and Carter with husband Wayne, said she found the incident 'triggering' and told the woman to fly by private jet during the heated argument.

The 32-year-old was appearing on Loose Women, with panelists Carol McGiffin, Brenda Edwards and Christine Lampard who were discussing whether crying children should be banned from restaurants.

The former singer told her story and said she wished people would refrain from judging struggling parents when their offspring are acting up.

Frankie said that as long as parents seemed as though they were trying to stop their children from misbehaving, they shouldn't be demonised, reports The Mirror.

She said: "I just think, sometimes don't think for a second that mother or that parent isn't sitting there thinking, 'Oh my god, please stop crying' or 'please stop doing that.'

"With someone who you can tell are making the effort to stop their child from doing that, then what can you say?

"If they're just sitting on their phone ignoring them and you're trying to have a nice meal or whatever, then I completely understand. But the word 'control'... I had someone on a flight come up to me once and say, 'You need to control your naughty child' - it's quite triggering for me!

"And I just lost it with her! Maybe this is the time where I told someone to shut up. I just couldn't - I argued with this woman.

"I think at one point I told her that she should go and get her own private jet if she can't handle being with the general public."

Carol pointed out: "Not everyone can afford that!"

Yet Frankie exclaimed: "But it made me so angry!"
