Frankfurt legend names three reasons why Chelsea should be worried ahead of Europa League tie

Frankfurt legend Dragoslav Stepanovic has a warning for Chelsea ahead of their Europa League semi-final.

The Bundesliga outfit have been somewhat of a surprise package in the competition this season.

They topped a group which contained Lazio as well as last season's beaten finalists in Marseille, overcame Inter Milan in the knockout phase and then overturned a first-leg deficit against Benfica to set up a clash with the Blues.

What Maurizio Sarri has said about a return to Serie A next season amid AC Milan links

Much of their success has come down to the front three of Luka Jovic, Sebastien Haller and Ante Rebic who have netted 54 goals between them across all competitions this season.

Stepanovic admits he is excited about that trio and has warned Maurizio Sarri's side that they face an uphill task of getting a positive result at the Commerzbank-Arena on Thursday evening.

"No ego between them," Stepanovic told iNews . "If one of them is in a better position to score, he gets the ball from the other.

"There are 17 different nationalities in this squad. I don’t know what language they speak! But, how they get on with it and the atmosphere amongst them is wonderful.

"Chelsea are going to have to really sweat for it if they want to win here.

"I’m always of the opinion that a good run is very difficult to stop."

Maurizio Sarri's side head to Germany on the back of a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford at the weekend, a result which has boosted their chances of sealing a return to Champions League via their final Premier League position.

They still need to match Arsenal and Manchester United's results against Watford and Leicester City in order to hold on to fourth spot, and doing so would ease some of the pressure to win the Europa League.

Although, given the fact Sarri has never won a trophy it's likely he will want to finish fourth and win the trophy.
