Frank Warren provides new Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua update

Frank Warren has said that the deal to seal a fight between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury is '90 per cent done', with the Queensberry promoter appearing to confirm that both sides are close to an agreement.

Developments in recent days appear to have confirmed that a deal has been agreed for a fight taking place on December 3rd at Cardiff's Principality Stadium. However, no official announcement has been made, despite social media activity from Joshua showing that a deal is at least very close.

This state of affairs appears to have been confirmed by Warren, who promoted Fury's fight against Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium in April. The promoter has said that the deal is nearly done, but that with what can sometimes go wrong with such arrangements that he couldn't confirm whether or not the fight will go ahead.

Warren was speaking to TalkSport, urging caution despite confirming that the paperwork was ready to be signed, explaining: "The contracts are on their way… this fight isn't on until it's signed.

He added. "I am not going to go into great detail as the last time around people made statements and it all fell apart.

"Everybody wants it to happen, there are not any obstacles in the way, so hopefully, very quickly we can get it over the line, but it is signed it is not on.

"There are a lot of facets to making it over the line, lawyers and broadcasters are involved. He added. "There has been an offer that could be refused but they have accepted a great offer.

"The basis of the deal, 90 per cent of what counts in the deal it is okay, and the other 10 per cent we have to sort out."
