Frank Vogel remains mum on Lakers starting line-up for Sunday

The Los Angeles Lakers will once again be without Rajon Rondo as they prepare to host the Charlotte Hornets but head coach Frank Vogel refused to tip his hand about whether he will continue with the line-up that changed the game for the Lakers in Friday night’s impressive win over the Utah Jazz.

Vogel went with Anthony Davis at center and LeBron James at power forward, along with a three-guard line-up of Alex Caruso, Danny Green and Avery Bradley. Without Rondo, it would seem prudent for the Lakers to go back to that but of course Vogel doesn’t want to give the Hornets a chance to focus their game plan.

Caruso, Green and Bradley were strong defensively against Utah’s strong backcourt of Donovan Mitchell and Mike Conley. Although the Hornets came into the season with the lowest expectations of any team in the league, guards PJ Washington and Davonte Graham have given opponents trouble over the first couple of games.
