Frank 'Shaky' Walker: Hearts lead tributes to 'Jambo through and through' after much-loved fan dies

Tributes have been paid to a much-loved Hearts fan who passed away.

Frank "Shaky" Walker (57) was described as a "Jambo through and through" as the club shared news of his death on Tuesday afternoon.

In a social media post, they said: "We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Frank "Shaky" Walker.

"His cheery demeanour and range of fantastic outfits made him a popular figure at Tynecastle. He was a Jambo through and through.

"Our thoughts are with his friends and family."

Images on social media reveal flowers, flags and Hearts tops being left outside Tynecastle as a show of respect.

A number of supporters also tweeted their own tributes after hearing the news.

Aaron Fraser commented: "Never had the pleasure of meeting the man but could always see him and his many onesies from my seat in the Main. Gorgie won't quite be the same without Shaky. Rest in peace Frank Walker."

Gav Thorne Farquhar posted: "We will miss you shaky."

And Ricky Barclay added: "RIP Shaky. Was great fun and [it] won't be the same. Another character gone."
