Frank Ragnow and Graham Glasgow land on PFF’s Team of the Week

Detroit Lions offensive lineman Frank Ragnow (center) and Graham Glasgow (right guard) land on Pro Football Focus’ Team of the Week, for Week 2.

Per PFF, Ragnow earned a grade of 79.7 for his performance against the Los Angeles Chargers, while Glasgow had a sensational 88.5 grade.

Ragnow

“Producing the highest-graded performance by a center so far this season,” said Gordon McGuinness, “Frank Ragnow proved he is fitting right back in at his old position in the middle of the offensive line. He didn’t allow a sack or hit on 33 pass-blocking snaps, with just one hurry against his name.”

Glasgow

“Ragnow moving back to center kicked Glasgow out to guard and if this week was anything to go by it’s looking like a great move”, said McGuinness. “Glasgow allowed just one hurry from 28 pass-blocking snaps but really impressed as a run-blocker, where he produced an 88.2 PFF run-blocking grade.”

Here’s a video (below) of the Kerryon Johnson’s 36-yard reception for a touchdown, where both of the above-referenced pictures stemmed from. Do your best to look away from Johnson and keep an eye on 60 (Glasgow) and 77 (Ragnow).

Side note: Tyrell Crosby deserves some credit

Crosby didn’t make the PFF TOTW, but he more than held his own. He only allowed two pressures and zero sacks in his first career start at left tackle.
