After a slightly slow start to life in the Premier League, Timo Werner has really hit his stride in England.
The Germany international has netted four Premier League goals so far, with another three in the Champions League and his Carabao Cup strike against Spurs.
The 24-year-old has netted five times in his last four games for the Blues and he will be looking to keep that form going when the Blues are back in action.
It's a week until Chelsea are up against Newcastle United in the Premier League, when they make the trip to St James' Park.
Of course, if he comes out of Germany duty unscathed, Werner will be part of the squad for the trip to the North East.
However, there are a couple of dilemmas facing Frank Lampard with one of his main marksmen.
The first is whether or not the Blues boss rests the German after a busy start to the 2020/21 campaign.
Werner has started all but one of Chelsea's matches so far this season, while he has also been a regular for Germany.
He also admitted to feeling slightly tired, saying before the international break: "“Of course, some days I’m tired because of the [number] of games I’ve played.
"But I did it last year as well and these days it’s normal to play so many games.
"Every player needs a rest sometimes and the international break [may come] at the right [moment], so it’s good to rest there [during international duty].
"In the end, it’s good to play every game. I’ve had a lot of fun playing every game so that’s not a problem for me."
Lampard did look to rest him before the Burnley match, however he was moved from the substitutes' bench to the starting side when Christian Pulisic picked up an injury in the warm-up.
However, with another busy run of games it could be time to give him a break.
The other dilemma, should Werner start, is what position the German plays in the front line.
In recent weeks, Lampard has gone with Tammy Abraham up top and with Werner playing off the left.
That is likely the way that Lampard wants to go for the upcoming match against the Magpies.
The only way it is likely to change, with the injury to Christian Pulisic, is Callum Hudson-Odoi comes back into the starting XI for Abraham and Werner leads the line.
