Callum Hudson-Odoi is set to sign a five-year deal to commit his future to Chelsea.
The 18-year-old is ready to agree a new contract worth £100,000 per week, with a deal expected to be signed off in the coming days.
He is understood to have been promised a key role in the first team plans of head coach Frank Lampard who replaced Maurizio Sarri earlier this month.
German champions Bayern Munich bid to sign the youngster in the January transfer window after having missed out on Jadon Sancho to Borussia Dortmund in 2018.
The Bundesliga side retain an interest in the England international, who lifted the Under-17 World Cup in 2017 before going on to help the Blues lift the Europa League under Sarri last season, but will now be forced to look elsewhere.
Despite making his first-team debut under Lampard's predecessor, Hudson-Odoi was uncertain of his future at the club amid discussions to send him out on loan for the 2019/20 season.
However, following the sale of Eden Hazard to Real Madird he has been given assurances of his role in the senior squad as an important piece to solve the puzzle of how to cover for the loss the Belgian and his influence on the team.
football.london understand that discussions have even taken place over the teenager taking up the number 10 shirt left vacant by Hazard's departure this summer.
Frank Lampard spoke last week of his desire to keep Callum Hudson-Odoi at Stamford Bridge, saying: "With Callum, of course I want him to sign and stay here.
"I said it before I came, just generally, I said it when I first got here.
"He is a player that has come through the academy, a player that I think can be a big player for Chelsea and for England. We as a club want him to stay, for sure.
"I think he knows he has a manager here who wants to work with him to improve, and that takes hard work.

"Nothing is given, especially when you’re 18 years of age, but with all the attributes Callum has we want him to come through at Chelsea and be a big player for us now and in the future.
"There a few younger players now, some have signed, some I think will sign in the next month or in the early part of the season, and it’s important we move forward on that.
"I know as a club we are doing our best from top to bottom."
Of course the first obstacle is getting the starlet back to full fitness.
Hudson-Odoi is currently out of action with a ruptured Achilles but is hopeful that he could be fit to return to action in August.
The 18-year-old scored five goals and racked up five assists in 23 appearances last term.
