Chelsea and Derby County have been given an encouraging update on the progress of wonderkid Mason Mount as he eyes a return from injury.
The 20-year-old has been out of action since the FA Cup victory over Accrington Stanley at the end of July having suffered a hamstring problem during the win.
But Frank Lampard has today revealed that Mount is back and ready to return to first team football which will be good news for both the Rams and Chelsea who have been pleased with the progress their youngster has made at the iPro Stadium this season.

The form that Mount has shown was enough to get him an England senior call-up in October and the Blues will be keeping a close eye on him as he returns for Derby as they look to see what he can add to Maurizio Sarri's side next season.
With a two-window transfer ban being imposed on them by Fifa Chelsea are keen to see what some of their young talent can add to their side, with Mount top of their list after his early performances for Derby.
And having recovered from his injury Mount is now ready to show what he can do once again for Derby during the Championship run-in.
Lampard said: “He’s missed a lot of football. I know how frustrated he has been in the past two months. We know his qualities, but sometimes you realise more when you have missed them. He needs pressure, because he’s that good.”
