Frank Lampard will take his first Chelsea Premier League match on Sunday at Manchester United, meaning he will give his first pre-match talk to his players.
There aren't many bigger challenges than facing United at Old Trafford and it will be a big test for the new head coach as he looks to motivate his men for the game.
The Blues have a tough start to the campaign, with Liverpool in the Super Cup on Wednesday and then Leicester City at home the following weekend.
But as far as his first ever pre-match talk at the Blues, Lampard insists there will just be a few things that he willl urge his players to do.
"No not yet [planned a speech]. A lot to prepare. We are watching Manchester United, we have had meetings and will have more," Lampard said. "I won't be unprepared by then.
"I will speak to the players as I feel it. I am not one for absolute schedule or be rigid, to say the same every game.
"You have to feel that and the job is to feel the atmosphere and everything that needs to be said.
"By that point the tactical work is pretty much done.
"The message will be something around the passion, giving everything, fighting for the team, individually and collectively.
"Those are the basics. You can't go to Old Trafford and get the result if you can't accept the basics. The players will be reminded of that. I haven't thought quite much."
