Chelsea manager Frank Lampard insists he is not concerned by comments from Jurgen Klopp saying the Blues will win the Premier League.
The German said recently that the Blues' strength in depth would see them have an advantage in the long-run and this makes them favourites to win the league.
However, Lampard has brushed off the remarks and says he is merely trying to follow in the footsteps of Liverpool and Manchester City's success in recent years.
"I don't think we think much of it," said the Blues boss ahead of his side's Champions League clash with Krasnodar on Tuesday evening.
"Liverpool and Manchester City have built a great squad and there are others in contention.
"I think where we are at, we are in good form, but we have players who have come in and City and Liverpool have had a lot of success for long periods.
"We are trying to reach that."
Chelsea currently sit two points off top spot in the Premier League after a 3-1 win over Leeds United on Saturday.
They trail Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool by two points in the standings after both clubs won their matches on Sunday.
The Blues' next league game is on Saturday away at Carlo Ancelotti's Everton.
