Frank Lampard has confirmed that Antonio Rudiger and Willian could be in contention for Chelsea's Premier League clash with Leicester City this weekend.
The duo have both been out of action with a knee injury and missed the season opener against Manchester United as well as the Super Cup clash with Liverpool.
However following two defeats from two, Lampard is hoping to have the duo back for the clash at Stamford Bridge.
Asked about their fitness, he said: "Rudiger is training. Whether he is completely match fit is another thing. A bit of condition.
"Same thing as Willian, Willian is probably closer. They are both in contention for the weekend."
Of course the Super Cup clash with Liverpool will have taken a lot out of the team.
The match went all of the way to penalties and Frank Lampard is hoping that his team are physically up to scratch for the clash with Leicester City.
He said: "Probably could have done without extra time but that's what it was. I don't like to complain too much.
"The preparation before wasn't great, so it has been a difficult week for us on those terms but we do have an extra day now until Sunday.
"The players have been doing a lot of recovery and not too much training. I hope physically we can be as good as we can be."
