Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has revealed that Thiago Silva and Ben Chilwell could both make their debuts for the club this week.
Former AC Milan defender Silva is yet to make an appearance for the club since completing his free transfer from PSG.
And neither has ex-Leicester City man Chilwell who completed a reported £45m move to London this summer.
But that could all change tomorrow with Lampard confirming that both players will be named in his 18-man squad for their cup clash at Stamford Bridge against Championship side Barnsley.
Lampard also revealed that Chelsea duo Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech are "getting closer" to full fitness but did not say that either could play a part on Wednesday night.
"He is in the squad tomorrow," Lampard revealed when asked about Silva as he addressed the media ahead of the match.
"He is getting fit and I will make a decision on how many minutes he gets [against Barnsley]."
He continued: "Chilwell is in the squad for tomorrow [also] and Pulisic and Ziyech are getting closer.
"You can't take [Barnsley] for granted. They can be difficult, you have to have respect for them. I am sure they want to show that they can compete with us."
