Frank Lampard: Norwich hold more talks with former Chelsea manager

Frank Lampard has held more talks with Norwich as they close in on a replacement for Daniel Farke.

Lampard is a leading contender to take over at Carrow Road and was interviewed on Thursday.

The 42-year-old has been out of work since being sacked by Chelsea in January and he has been waiting for the right opportunity to get back into management.

Norwich are yet to decide whether to appoint Lampard and could still speak to other candidates.

Dean Smith, who sacked by Aston Villa on Sunday, has been linked with the job.

An announcement on who will take over from Farke is not expected until the weekend or early next week.

Farke was sacked after Norwich beat Brentford last Saturday.

Norwich have struggled since promotion from the Championship and are bottom of the Premier League with five points from 11 games.

Their next game is against Southampton on November 20.
