Frank Lampard names the surprising Chelsea player who could be a big impact on top four race

Frank Lampard believes Pedro could have a massive impact on the end of Chelsea's season after getting his chance in the starting XI once again.

After playing at the beginning of the campaign, the veteran Spaniard found it difficult to maintain his spot when players returned from injury.

However, the Blues have been hit with another injury crisis in the wing areas, with Christian Pulisic and Callum Hudson-Odoi having been missing for the last few weeks.

Meanwhile, Willian limped out of the FA Cup win over Liverpool on Tuesday night and is a doubt for the Premier League clash against Everton this weekend.

And Lampard believes Pedro could have a decent say on how the Blues will end up when the season is done.

"Yes, possibly. I agree he was outstanding tonight in work ethic and players look up to him for what he has done," Lampard said. "Always a goal threat. Parts of the season have been difficult.

"He was in the team at the start, got injured and then got out of the team, But what he has shown, particularly in recent weeks is a real desire in training.

"To look sharp, to be giving advice and giving the place a lift with his body language. He can be one of our most important players until the end of the season. He is an infectious player."
