Chelsea head coach Frank Lampard has only been in management in the top flight for a few months, but he has already been nominated for the Premier League manager of the month award.
The Blues' head coach has enjoyed a good run of results in recent weeks, with Chelsea winning two of their three games in September in the league, courtesy of a 5-2 success against Wolves at Molineux and a 2-0 win against Brighton & Hove Albion at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Chelsea did, however, lose 2-1 at home against league leaders Liverpool, with the Reds boss Jurgen Klopp one of the other managers nominated for the award.
Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe and Leicester City's Brendan Rodgers have also been nominated for the award, with their sides also enjoying good form in recent weeks.
But Chelsea fans are understandably delighted to see their head coach nominated for the award in only the second month of the new season, after he took charge in the summer.
