Frank Lampard has said the he has not taken just one thing from Jose Mourinho as the pair meet again on Sunday afternoon.
Chelsea face Tottenham Hotspur in the final Premier League game before Christmas and it's fixture in which the Blues must avoid defeat in or they'll slip out of the top four by virtue of an inferior goal difference.
And the omens are looking good for the visitors.
In the one and only meeting between Lampard and Mourinho, the former came out on top when his Derby County side beat Manchester United on penalties in the Carabao Cup third round last season.
That game was unique given the pair enjoyed great success together whilst at Chelsea.
Having played under Mourinho across two separate spells at Stamford Bridge, Lampard obviously picked up a couple of tips from one of the best managers in the past 15 years, but would specify any particular thing.
"Not one thing, no," Lampard told reporters when asked if he taken anything from Mourinho into his coaching career.
"Good manager. Loads of good attributes.
"I wouldn't try and be a clone or anything."
Mind games might have been something Lampard has picked up from Mourinho.
And the Spurs boss got the ball rolling long before his appointment at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with comments about Chelsea's form against the top-six this season.
"In the first weekend I was worried and I'm still worried with the big matches," Mourinho told Sky Sports during his stint as a pundit."I think fantastic work. The kids coming into the team are fitting amazingly well with the top class players like Willian and Kante.
"I think really, really great work by Frank. But they lost twice against United, they lost against Liverpool at home.
"I'm curious to see if they found that great empathy between the good football they play and the pragmatism that the top teams must have to play against top teams."
