Frank Lampard explains why he is pushing Christian Pulisic even harder for Chelsea

Frank Lampard is expecting Christian Pulisic to score more and more goals for Chelsea and is ready to push the American further.

The 21-year-old has had a decent couple of months for the Blues, netting five Premier League goals, the most he has ever scored in a league campaign.

The American has also bagged one goal in the Champions League, while he has added three assists to his name over the course of the campaign.

Pulisic did not play at all for the Blues apart from in the Carabao Cup in September, with his move to the club already looking like a poor one.

However, the winger has been in excellent form recently and Lampard is looking forward to getting even more out of his key man.

Asked how far Pulisic can go, Lampard said: "More, a lot more. I have just mentioned there about conversion of chances.

"I think he gets himself in so many good positions with his talent and his dribbling ability that I think more goals will be the next stage of that.

"I am really pleased with him. I have asked a lot of him. He has played a lot of games recently, back to back, in a new league that we know is very physical for him.

"I am asking a lot but he has done very well. I expect a lot more."
