Frank Lampard has insisted there is still a chance Kenedy and Tiemoue Bakayoko will be heading out of Chelsea during this transfer window.
Both players have dropped down the pecking order at the Blues and are unlikely to find themselves anywhere near the starting XI this season.
With Willian having returned from injury and Callum Hudson-Odoi close to getting back to full fitness, Kenedy is not now in a position to fight for a spot in Lampard's side.
Meanwhile, Bakayoko failed to impress in the summer and has not been in any of the matchday squads this season. Even for the Super Cup when Chelsea were able to name 12 players on the bench, youngster Billy Gilmour joined the squad while Bakayoko was left at home.
Bakayoko has been linked with a return to Monaco on loan, while Kenedy was close to joining Reading at the end of the British transfer window.
However, with the foreign window closing this Monday (September 2), both players are still on the books with the west London club.
But Lampard has stated that might not be the case once the weekend is done and dusted.
"It's a possibility," Lampard said. "We are getting to the point now where the window is closing soon. I am clear where my squad is, and they're our players as it stands.
"In terms of Bakayoko and Kenedy, yeah, for sure, we'll see how it goes."
Chelsea youngster Juan Castillo also completed his loan move to the Blues's Champions League opponents, Ajax, this afternoon.
The 19-year-old has returned to the Dutch side on a season long loan, however they also have an option to buy him next summer.
