Callum Hudson-Odoi and Reece James are in contention to face Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday afternoon, Chelsea head coach Frank Lampard has confirmed.
The duo, who are yet to make a Premier League appearance this season, made their returns from injury in an Under-23's clash against the Seagulls a couple of weeks ago and featured against Southampton Under-23's last weekend.
Then on Wednesday night they started and completed 90 minutes of the 7-1 trashing of Grimsby Town in the Carabao Cup.
James marked his senior debut with a goal and two assists, while Hudson-Odoi sealed his return to first-team action with a goal.
Next up for the Blues is the visit of Brighton to Stamford Bridge in the Premier League.
Lampard is yet to win a home game in the top flight of English football since being appointed as head coach in the summer following draws against Leicester City and Sheffield United as well as a defeat at the hands of Liverpool.
But his options to put that record straight has been booted with the news that James and Hudson-Odoi came through the Grimsby game unscathed and are in line to feature this weekend.
"They are in the squad," Lampard confirmed in his pre-match press conference. "They performed well the other day, delighted for them to score.
"It was good for the home fans to see Reece, great to see Callum back."

Four months ago James was in the dark as to whether he'd be making a Premier League appearance for his boyhood club.
"At the time I wasn't sure because the team did well last season, winning the Europa League," he told Goal. "I decided to take it as it comes really and when I found out I was staying, I was obviously happy.
"I'm glad I'm getting my chance.
"If you look at the past few years there probably isn’t as many who have played. Out there today there were four or five of us that got on the pitch.
"That's great for the academy. It shows the level and standard there is very good.
"Of course, looking at other young players getting a chance gives you a boost."
