Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has confirmed that Hakim Ziyech will miss Saturday's match against Everton as he continues his recovery from a hamstring injury.
The Morocco international was substituted during last weekend's victory over Leeds United and was absent from the Chelsea squad that drew with Krasnodar on Tuesday evening.
Callum Hudson-Odoi has also been ruled out of contention against Everton with a hamstring problem of his own, but both players are only expected to miss around two weeks of action.
Lampard revealed on Thursday that in terms of availability, not much has changed since Tuesday's Champions League outing.
Jorginho's penalty cancelled out an early strike from Remy Cabella to ensure the spoils were shared at Stamford Bridge and seal Chelsea's status as Group E winners.
"We're the same as we were in midweek," Lampard said.
"Hakim and Callum are out for a couple of weeks. Christian [Pulisic] had a tiny bit of soreness after the Leeds game in his hamstring, but we should be as we were."
As for Pulisic, Lampard explained that the American winger is still in the process of returning to full fitness, but will be available for Saturday's match.
"Christian is a work in progress - I don't want to call it an injury," Lampard continued. "It's up to me to see how I can get the best out of him consistently."
Chelsea will be looking to continue their strong Premier League form on Saturday against an Everton side struggling for consistency after an initially promising start to the season.
Lampard's side currently occupy third in the league table, just two points behind leaders Tottenham.
Despite the shaky recent form of Saturday's opponents, the Chelsea boss spoke of his admiration for Carlo Ancelotti, who managed the Blues while Lampard was a player.
"I was heavily influenced by him as a player and a man," he said. "He's right at the top of managers I worked with. He's had huge success at various clubs.
"He was a great coach, a great man and I look forward to seeing him."
Lampard added: "The Premier League is unforgiving. They've had injuries. It doesn't change my thoughts on how to approach playing them."
