Frank Lampard and wife Christine burgled as thieves target Chelsea boss a fourth time

Frank and Christine Lampard's £12million home has reportedly been burgled, as thieves hit the Chelsea boss a fourth time.

Around £60,000 of jewellery and watches are said to have been stolen in the raid.

NI television presenter Christine met Frank back in 2009. The couple tied the knot in December, 2015 and welcomed their baby girl Patricia into the world in September 2018.

A police source told the Sun, the family's Chelsea home may have been targeted by the same gang who burgled the Knightsbridge pad of late Leicester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.

His devastated Thai family, who still own the club, are said to have left his West London home untouched following his death in a helicopter crash in October 2018.

Over £1million's worth of valuables are believed to have been taken in that heist.

Detectives are understood to be studying CCTV of both burlgaries.

The Sun quoted their police source as saying: "Both burglaries may have been carried out by the same team.

"The family of Vichai are understandably very upset. His house was totally ransacked and a lot of precious and sentimental items were taken.

"The thieves have effectively desecrated his spirit. None of the items stolen during either of the burglaries have been recovered.

"Police are apparently working on the assumption that Vichai’s house and the Lampards were both deliberately targeted."

The Lampard home was reportedly burgled in 2018, with the most recent heist taking place in December, 2019.

Frank also had an Aston Marton and Mercedes taken from his previous house during incidents in 2005 and 2008.
