Frank Lampard insists he regrets part of his X-rated row with Jurgen Klopp on Wednesday night.
But the Chelsea boss insists that the Liverpool bench “crossed the line” and that he's not sorry for defending his side.
Lampard was caught on camera launching a furious tirade at his Kop counterpart amid a blistering touchline row in the build up to Liverpool’s second goal at Anfield.
Lampard had initially been unhappy that a free kick had been given against Mateo Kovacic for a foul on Naby Keita, which led to an argument between himself and Liverpool assistant boss Pep Lijnders.
More murmurings from the home dugout saw Lampard let rip, notably declaring: “"One title you've won and you’re f*****g giving it the big 'un! F*** off!"
Post-match Lampard was critical of what he perceived as arrogance from the Reds bench, saying: "Some of the bench, it's a fine line between when you are winning - and they've won the league, fair play to Liverpool Football Club - but also don't get too arrogant with it.”

Now, ahead of his side’s weekend meeting with Wolves, the Chelsea boss was asked about the incident at his Friday press conference.
And he admitted he could have handled things differently - but made no apologies for defending his side.

“I’ve seen the video, I was there. In terms of language used, I regret it because I've got two young daughters on social media," said the Chelsea boss.
"In terms of passion to defend my team? No.
"I could have handled it differently but some of the reports were I was upset with the celebrations. Far from it. They can celebrate every goal."

Lampard congratulated Liverpool players post-game, notably appearing on Sadio Mane’s Instagram feed
But he revealed that he didn’t share a beer with his opposite number while Liverpool celebrated their Premier League title triumph at Anfield.
“I would have had a beer with Jurgen Klopp after the game to toast their success," continued Lampard.
"But there were things I didn’t like from their bench, not Jurgen Klopp, but their bench.
"Emotions run high in this game. I regret the language but we'll move on.”
Klopp had his say on Friday once more also, taking umbrage with Lampard's "arrogant" comment.
He declared: “We are not ‘arrogant’. Frank was in a really competitive mood, I respect that a lot.
“For me, after the game, it’s completely over. He has to learn to finish speaking about it after the final whistle, and he didn’t do that.
“Speaking about it after the whistle is not okay.”
