Frank Lampard has added another Chelsea youngster to training ahead of 'Project Restart' and their Premier League return on Sunday.
The Blues boss has already brought in Henry Lawrence, Karlo Ziger, Armando Broja, Tino Livramento, Tino Anjorin and Lewis Bate, and added another to the list.
Centre-back Dynel Simeu took part in the session at Cobham ahead of the match at Villa Park on Sunday afternoon.
The 18-year-old has been another player who has impressed during the season for the U18s and the Development Squad, being a rock at the back.
The Cameroon-born youngster is one of the academy players who has trained with the first team before this season, however has now spent a session with the side ahead of Sunday.
Lampard is likely to pick one of his four main centre-backs in Antonio Rudiger, Fikayo Tomori, Kurt Zouma and Andreas Christensen for the game at Villa Park.
Simeu on his Chelsea career so far, said: "It would have to be singing for Chelsea after my trial. I came from a Sunday league team in Southampton and with my background I didn’t know many footballers and didn’t even know how Chelsea Academy worked, I thought playing here was unrealistic.
"I admired Portsmouth and Southampton because that’s all I knew, I always dreamed of becoming a footballer but my family and I never thought it was realistic, then when I got the chance everything happened quickly and it was unbelievable."
