Hibs legend Franck Sauzée has sent a rare message to the Easter Road faithful as he announced a return to Edinburgh.
The iconic Frenchman will attend a dinner hosted by the Hanlon Stevenson Foundation (HSF) - the charity led by Paul Hanlon and Lewis Stevenson - in the New Year.
Supporters haven't heard from the man known as "Le God" since he departed following a brief spell as manager in February 2002.
But now he's ready to make a long-awaited return to the capital for a good cause.
Sauzée said in a video message on the official HSF Twitter: "Hello Hibee fans, I'm delighted to announce I'm coming back to Edinburgh for the first time in nearly 20 years.
"I will appear at the charity dinner supporting the Hanlon Stevenson Foundation in early 2022.
"Please follow their social channels - Twitter, Facebook - for further information.
"Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, see you soon!"
Sauzée joined Hibs under Alex McLeish in 1998 and led the club back to the top-flight before securing a third-placed finish in 2001, also reaching the Scottish Cup Final.
In 2005, he was voted the club's greatest ever cult hero in a BBC poll.
Capped 39 times for the France national team, the 56-year-old has been working as a pundit for broadcaster Canal+.
