Francis Ngannou backed to KO Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua

Francis Ngannou has been backed to score a KO victory against Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua or Deontay Wilder.

The UFC's heavyweight champion has hinted at a switch to boxing as contract uncertainty continues to plague his future with the promotion.

He will defend his UFC title later this month against Cyril Gane but could become a free agent with the fight being the last on his current deal.

However podcaster and analyst Brendan Schaub believes Ngannou could sign another deal with another MMA promotion label that are happy for him to work alongside boxing's biggest names.

"You could go test the free agency and sign a deal with Bellator or Rizin or One Championship or PFL or Bare Knuckle or something like that," Schaub said on his latest episode of The Schaub Show.

"And you have a stipulation in your contract where you can fight Fury and Wilder and Joshua. One of those fights will pay you more than any organisation in the world in MMA could possibly pay you.

"Win, lose or draw, you're going to get paid. And not only are you going to get paid. You know it's a big risk especially if you can get it done. Not only are you going to get paid but you're going to get paid twice.

"Nobody's going to sign a one-fight deal to fight Francis Ngannou. There's going to be a rematch clause in there at some point. If Francis were to land one which he's definitely capable of, he'd knock any of those three out. They're not going to let in him ride off into the sunset."

Ngannou has spoken of his desire to enter the boxing ring after c omparing his recent payday to heavyweight champion Fury's after his trilogy victory over Wilder.

UFC president Dana White has told Ngannou he will be free to leave when his contract expires after his clash with Gane.

Ngannou has used his uncertain future to call out Fury and Wilder.

“It's always been down the line,” he told TMZ of his plans to box in the future. “This is something I'm not taking my eyes off of, it's going to happen, either way.

"Even if, when the UFC and I finalise a deal, the boxing part has to be in it because I can't see myself retiring without boxing.

“Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder. I would like to test myself to that level."

Ngannou will demand that a clause is included in any new contract with the UFC that allows him to compete in the boxing ring if lucrative offers are made against the likes of Fury.
