Two new hopefuls are heading into the Love Island villa following a shock double dumping - and both singletons already have links to famous faces.
Francesca Allen and Chris Taylor will join the islanders in Majorca following the departure of five contestants.
Jourdan Raine and Danny Williams were voted off the show yesterday, and a second couple are set to leave during tonight’s episode. Amy Hart is thought to have chosen to leave the series yesterday after breaking up with Curtis Pritchard.
23-year-old Francesca is a clothing store manager from Essex who is already friends with a handful of well known reality stars, including TOWIE cast members and a former islander.
“I know quite a lot of the TOWIE cast - Georgia Kousoulou, Chloe Ross, Chloe Lewis, they all come to the shop,” she said ahead of her Love Island debut.
“My sister’s boyfriend is Sam Faiers’ boyfriend’s brother, so we know each other. Jack Fowler was my personal trainer for a while, he’s really nice.”
28-year-old business development manager Chris also has a celebrity link of his own.
“My dad was engaged to Denise Welch when he was 19,” he revealed. “They’re still good family friends. I’ve met her a few times, she’s lovely.”
Francesca confessed that she has her eye on Anton as he “doesn’t take himself too seriously,” but admitted that she could fall for newly single Curtis’s “snake hips.”
Meanwhile Chris describes Maura as “an absolute fireball” and believes “it will be interesting to see if [they] clash or not.”
