France's Le Drian says restoring confidence with U.S. will require time

French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian has told his U.S. counterpart Antony Blinken that it would take "time and actions" to exit the crisis and restore confidence between two countries stemming from Australia's cancellation of a submarine contract with Paris, the foreign ministry said in a statement.
